KLJ’s transportation group provides a wide range of services, including data collection, analysis, planning and roadway and bridge design. Our transportation group collaborates with other KLJ experts to complete all project aspects and contribute to the safety and reliability of transportation systems nationwide.

3-D Scanning of Complex Environment

The Minnesota Department of Transportation turned to KLJ for a comprehensive survey of a complex and critical intersection in Duluth, Minn. The roadway, a busy interchange of Mesaba Avenue and West Michigan Street, could not realistically be shut down for the amount of time necessary to complete a traditional topographic survey.
