Airport Runway Reconstruction

KLJ was selected to perform engineering services on the Madison Municipal Airport in Madison, SD. At the time, the airport was serving heavier aircraft than the pavement was designed to support. KLJ solicited a soils testing firm to core existing airport pavement to determine thickness and condition, as well as examine underlying soils.
