Accepted project types are as follows:
- Community Greening and Green Infrastructure: Includes engaging communities in learning about, planning and developing green infrastructure/low-impact development approaches, programs and practices that enhance the sustainability of their communities and more effectively manage urban runoff/storm water pollution.
- Community and Water Quality Data: Includes activities that involve community members and address community issues and priorities including stream/storm water system surveys, investigations and/or monitoring efforts that involve the collection, assessment/analysis, and/or communication of existing/new water quality data as they relate to addressing urban runoff/storm water pollution.
Eligible Applicants: States, local governments, Indian Tribes, public and private universities and colleges, public or private nonprofit organizations, intertribal consortia, and interstate agencies. Applicants must be located in the one of the eligible geographic areas which are illustrated on the interactive map found at the following location.http://www2.epa.gov/urbanwaters/urban-waters-small-grants-mapping
Match: A minimum non-federal match of $4,000 is required
Award Floor: $40,000
Award Ceiling: $60,000
