State of the Art Athletic Facility to Benefit Students and Surrounding Community

Shiloh Christian School first opened its doors in 1978 in Bismarck, ND with 47 students. Since, Shiloh Christian School educates 560 students and anticipates continued growth as the surrounding community expands.

The school has expanded numerous times to utilize available acreage on the 21-acre property and provide an optimal environment for learning and extracurricular activities. Shiloh hired KLJ to develop conceptual and preliminary design for an athletic complex and performing arts center along with wetlands delineation and mitigation services. KLJ worked alongside the project’s architects to administer the design plans and bring the concept to life.

The project was designed and will be constructed in three phases. Phase I is complete and includes a football and soccer field, track facility, baseball stadium and associated amenities. Phases II and III will include a commons area to serve the existing elementary and high schools, and a 36,500-square foot fine arts and theatre complex. The additional phases are expected to be complete within the upcoming years, and will be entirely funded through community donations. The enhancements provide numerous opportunities for the students and families, as well as economic opportunities for the Bismarck-Mandan community.
