Project
Columbia Road is a highly populated area with growing business development and a neighboring University that generates significant pedestrian traffic. The City of Grand Forks aimed to improve this two-block urban area.
Solution
KLJ’s services on this project also preliminary and final design, construction administration, survey, and concrete testing. Specifically, this two-block urban reconstruction project included underground utility coordination, grading, aggregate base, concrete pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, signals, and lighting.
Result
The urban reconstruction of the once oversaturated corridor provides a long-term traffic solution and enhances safety.
