Goldsmith Heck Engineers, Inc. Join Forces with KLJ
KLJ is proud to annouce, that today we have formalized the long-time partnership maintained with Goldsmith Heck Engineers, Inc., a South Dakota based company. KLJ and Goldsmith Heck have collaborated on various projects for more than 10 years, most recently serving the Sioux Falls Airport. “During that time, we have recognized, that we work well together, and that greater opportunity exists together,” said KLJ’s CEO, Dean Anagnost.
Over the last couple of years Goldsmith Heck sought to increase not only their business opportunities, as well as career opportunities for their staff. In KLJ, they found a firm that offered both opportunities, and one that shared their approach and dedication to clients and business. “Our established relationship with KLJ, their business model and dedication to exceptional service is what drove us to take an in-depth look at the company, and when they opened an office in Sioux Falls this summer, it seemed like the right time”, said Todd Goldsmith, President of Goldsmith Heck.
Not only do the two firms work well together, but the addition of Goldsmith Heck formally into the organization plays a noteworthy role in KLJ’s growth strategy for the future. This strategy includes geographic expansion and a focus on the Company’s core business of engineering infrastructure. “Together, our team offers the experience and services needed to truly reimagine what projects can become,” said Anagnost. KLJ specializes in planning, designing, and supporting infrastructure projects of all shapes and sizes. From roads, runways, pipelines, and parks, KLJ provides clients the sophisticated engineering they expect, along with the support and technical expertise needed. “Goldsmith Heck’s expertise in civil engineering and surveying services will allow us to expand our services together, to current and future clients,” said Anagnost.
Goldsmith Heck, was established in 1999 and has office locations in Sioux Falls and Mobridge, SD. Goldsmith Heck employs 10 employees in the Sioux Falls office and will eventually join KLJ employees in a combined location, but for now, will operate out of two locations, Goldsmith Heck’s Sioux Falls location at 524 North Sycamore Ave, Suite 1 and the new KLJ office, located at 4800 East 57th St, Suite B. “Additionally, KLJ is looking forward to becoming more active in the Mobridge community with the addition of Goldsmith Heck’s second location,” said Anagnost. The Mobridge office, which currently has 2 employees, will bring KLJ to 25 locations across six states. The organizations will operate jointly as KLJ.
The arrangement exemplifies the company’s commitment to growth and a goal toward engineering progressive infrastructure across the nation. KLJ will hold a ribbon cutting event with the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce at their office on 57th Street on Wednesday, October 11, followed by an Open House event to celebrate Goldsmith Heck joining forces with KLJ.
