Keith Kaspari Joins KLJ as Senior Aviation Advisor and Planner
KLJ Engineering is proud to welcome Keith Kaspari, C.M., MPA, a senior aviation advisor and planner based in Waterloo, Iowa.
Kaspari brings more than three decades of comprehensive experience in airport management, operations, maintenance, and capital development, displaying thorough knowledge and understanding of airside and operations. During his career, Kaspari has managed numerous large multi-million-dollar capital improvement projects. His expertise in airport security and compliance is evident through his leadership roles at non-hub commercial service airports. He also has thorough knowledge of general aviation airports. Additionally, he has collaborated closely with FAA, state, and local authorities to enhance airport infrastructure for both airside and landside operations. Kaspari also has provided legislative advocacy with state and federal legislators to promote and advance positive changes in funding for airports.
Recognized for his contributions, Kaspari received the Airport Manager of the Year award from the Michigan Association of Airport Executives in 2010. Engaged in regional community initiatives, Kaspari served on committees such as the Technical Review Committee at the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments and was a member of the Grow Cedar Valley Ambassadors.
He earned a Master of Public Administration from California State University-Northridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of North Dakota. Active in professional associations such as the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the Iowa Public Airports Association (IPAA), Keith demonstrates a commitment to the aviation community.
