KLJ Earns NDSPE 2022 Project of the Year Award

KLJ Engineering (KLJ) is proud to announce that KLJ, the City of Mandan, and Mandan Park and Recreation were recently recognized by Chapter 3 of the North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers (NDSPE) for the Mandan Tennis Center Project. The project was recognized with the 2022 Project of the Year award, which recognizes projects that include innovative engineering and provide benefits to society.

In late 2021, KLJ was hired to provide engineering services to construct a tennis dome structure in Mandan, ND.  Specifically, KLJ performed site survey, land entitlements, development design, and site design services along with a stormwater analysis and design. The domed facility was opened in December 2022 and consists of more than 41,000 square feet of new sports amenities including six tennis courts, ten pickleball courts, and a 3,000 square-foot Welcome Center equipped with retail space and a meeting room.
