KLJ Expands in South Dakota

KLJ is proud to announce the opening of an office in Sioux Falls, SD. “We are an engineering firm, we plan design and support infrastructure across the country such as roads, runways, pipelines, and parks and are excited to continue to expand our services in the Sioux Falls area,” said CEO, Dean Anagnost. With offices in six states across the U.S., KLJ has been in South Dakota for more than 15 years with an office in Rapid City. KLJ continues its commitment to serving the infrastructure needs of communities and clients with the new office is Sioux Falls. “We are not new to Sioux Falls, as we have worked for many years on the Sioux Falls Regional Airport through a strategic partnership with Goldsmith Heck Engineers,” said Anagnost.

“The move to open an office and expand our resources seemed like a logical next step, and something our clients have been asking for and that we are excited about. We look forward to furthering our relationship with the Airport, as well as serving the City and surrounding communities and markets,” said Anagnost.

“The office is in early stages, right now, and we are in the process of relocating some of our staff, as well as filling several key positions. As the office gets up and running we will staff accordingly to best serve the community and surrounding areas with a plan to hire approximately 15-20 employees over the next year or so,” said Anagnost.

The office, located at 4800 E. 57th Street, Suite B, brings the firm to two office locations in South Dakota and a total of 24 office locations in six states.

KLJ is headquartered in Bismarck, ND. The move exemplifies the company’s growth and goal toward engineering progressive infrastructure across the nation. This year, KLJ was recognized as a Best Place to work in various geographies and most recently ranked 130th in Engineering News Record’s Top 500 Design Firms for its previous year’s performance. KLJ is committed to helping make the communities in which we all live and work a better place, winning both regional and national engineering awards for project completed around the county. “Over nearly 80 years, KLJ has evolved into an industry leader by first excelling locally. Our office locations and local knowledge offer our clients a strategic advantage through understanding and knowing the communities in which we live and work,” said Anagnost.
