KLJ Presents How Infrastructure Drives Economic Development

Becky Bey, Senior Government Relations Specialist with KLJ will present today at the 26th Annual Tribal Leaders Summit in Bismarck.

Hosted by the United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) along with Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board, the Summit features keynote speakers, networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions focused on diverse, cultural, and economic topics.

Bey’s presentation, “Infrastructure as An Economic and Community Development Tool,” highlights the importance of planning and construction of basic infrastructure such as water, sewer, roads, etc. in economic development and why public engagement is essential in the successful projects and in obtaining grant support.

The Summit is being held at the Bismarck Event Center.
