KLJ Welcomes Tim Stahl as Client Relationship Leader in Minnesota

KLJ is pleased to welcome Tim Stahl as a client relationship leader in the company’s Transportation group based out of Eagan, Minnesota.

Tim brings more than three decades of experience in transportation, public works, and infrastructure planning. Most recently, he served as Public Works Director where he managed more than 520 miles of county state aid highways and county roads, in addition over 200 bridges, overseeing the replacement of more than half of them during his tenure. He successfully secured federal and state funding to support major roadway and bridge projects and was instrumental in delivering one of the first true rural roundabouts in Minnesota, now termed the “Jackson Design”.

His county experience also includes the administration, maintenance and improvement of a thousand mile plus public drainage system, a parks system modernization, and development of a trails network. His contributions to the engineering field include local infrastructure advancement through service on the Local Road Research Board, Research Implementation Committee, and by leading the development of a process and documentation to deal with large traffic generators. Stahl earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology.
