Leadership Promotions

KLJ is excited to announce three significant leadership promotions that highlight our continued investment in top talent and strategic project delivery across the communities we serve. Katie Radavich was promoted to Hydraulics Team Leader; Michael Strom was promoted to Public Works and Transportation Team Leader; and Jess Wagner was promoted to Water Resources Project Delivery Leader.
Radavich, PE (CO, MT, ND, UT, MN, NM), has been promoted to team leader of the Hydraulics team based out of Grand Junction, Colorado. She has more than 10 years of multidisciplinary experience in civil site development, surface water management, stream restoration, irrigation systems, and renewable energy technologies. She has extensive knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, permitting, and development regulations. In her new role, she will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and oversee the planning and execution of water resource and site development projects. Katie earned her master’s degree in hydrologic science and engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and her bachelor’s degree in materials science engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Strom, PE (ND), will lead the Public Works and Transportation team based out of Valley City, North Dakota. Michael is a civil engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the transportation field specializing in water, sewer, and street design. His experience includes utility and roadway design, construction observation, project management, SRF funding, and lab testing. He earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
Wagner, PE (ND, MN, MT, SD, CO), has been promoted to Project Delivery Leader for KLJ’s Water Resources Group and is based out of West Fargo, North Dakota. With more than 20 years of experience, her expertise includes wastewater collection, conveyance, stormwater & water system design, and treatment systems for both rural and urban communities. Jess has managed a wide range of infrastructure projects from initial planning through construction, including gravity and force mains, sanitary and stormwater lift stations, and wastewater treatment improvements. In her new role, she will lead the Water Resources Group’s strategic direction and operational excellence. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from North Dakota State University. Wagner is also a member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.
