Matt Isley and Jordan Gerber Promotion
KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ), is proud to announce we have promoted Matt Isley and Jordan Gerber to bridge team leaders in the Transportation Group of their respective states.
Based out of West Fargo, N.D., Isley is a licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota with more than 20 years of experience in the structural and transportation sectors. He specializes in bridge projects with experience in prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, and structural steel design. Isley’s vast experience includes preliminary layout and sizing, bridge type determination, final design, plan production, and project specifications. He has worked on several bridge projects throughout the Midwest, as well as bridge rehabilitation and replacement using American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) design codes. He earned his bachelor's in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
Gerber is based out of St. Louis Park, MN and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming with more than 11 years of bridge design experience. He has substantial experience working on major river crossings and rail grade separations and is well versed in American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) design codes. His experience covers the full range of project development from initial scoping and bridge alternatives through final design and construction. Gerber has worked on a variety of bridge types including precast concrete and steel girder bridges, historic trusses, and slab bridges. Gerber earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
