Nixon Joins KLJ as Project Pursuit Manager

KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ), is proud to welcome Tom Nixon as a Project Pursuit Manager within our Transportation team. 

Nixon is based in our Saint Paul, Minn. office and has more than 10 years of experience working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) on infrastructure projects, stakeholder engagement, project management, and various policies and procedures. Additionally, he has comprehensive knowledge in traffic safety and worked on a multi-agency and nationally recognized safety program, Toward Zero Deaths (TZD).

At KLJ, he will identify and lead the pursuit of transportation business development opportunities, develop new client relationships, oversee project capture plans, assist in proposal development, and work closely with stakeholders. Nixon earned a master’s degree in project management from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, and a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin.
