KLJ Engineering is proud to announce the upcoming retirement of long-standing employee Steve Grabill.  

Grabill joined KLJ in 2012. He is registered as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, and as a Professional Engineer in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, and Wyoming and serves as a client relationship leader based in our Billings office. Throughout his remarkable 35-year career, he has demonstrated his extensive expertise as a planning and design project engineer, consistently applying his knowledge to resolve complex issues in both urban and rural roadway corridors 

Grabill’s contributions have undoubtedly left a long-lasting impact on our company, our team, and the clients he worked with. During his tenure with KLJ, his commitment and dedication have left an indelible mark on the industry, contributing to significant advancements in transportation planning and traffic studies, and solutions for a variety of transportation improvement projects. Grabill was a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University. 

He looks forward to more time hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with friends and family and taking part in a variety of ministry interests upon retirement.  

His last day will be Friday, September 6. Congratulations and we wish you a wonderful retirement!
