Uribe Awarded Patriot Award

KLJ is proud to announce that Tim Uribe, project manager and project delivery manager, out of KLJ’s Helena office was recently recognized with the Patriot Award from the Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The award recognizes supervisors for support provided directly to the nominating service member and their family. Ben Aarhaus, nominated Uribe, his supervisor, for the award for his outstanding support during recent events in which Aarhaus’ wife was deployed.

“Tim has gone above and beyond in supporting me and my family during my wife’s deployment and activation,” says Aarhaus. “She was activated for over 30 days with little to no warning forcing our family to balance homeschooling children while working. Tim’s patience and supportiveness has allowed our family to function effectively despite these harrowing times.”

Aarhaus’ wife, LTC Alyssa Aarhaus is the Battalion Commander of the 193rd Military Police Battalion and Task Force Commander of the Colorado National Guard’s Task Force organizing an Alternate Care Facility to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The Patriot Award acknowledges the efforts made to support citizen soldiers through a wide-range of measures, including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed. “We are proud to support Ben and his family during these unprecedented times,” says Uribe. “The Aarhaus family is a true testament to KLJ’s values of integrity, community and trust. We thank LTC Aarhaus for her service and are happy to provide flexibility and support whenever there is a call to serve our country and community.”
