Drew Andersen and Tim Hatmann Promotion
KLJ is pleased to announce that Drew Andersen, PE and Tim Hartmann, CFM have been promoted to Municipal Group Project Delivery Leaders in Minnesota and South Dakota respectively.
Andersen, a structural engineer based out of Eagan, MN has more than 15 years of experience. He has contributed to the design and construction of critical infrastructure projects across the United States and Canada. His expertise spans both building and non-building structures, serving a range of industries, including public works and transit. His extensive knowledge of structural design materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, wood, aluminum, stainless steel, and cold-formed metal. He’s a member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Before his promotion, Hartmann was a KLJ project manager based out of Rapid City, SD with more than 11 years of experience in construction, project management, project planning, and implementation. His expertise in the municipal sector includes water, sewer, and street construction and operation, along with a deep understanding of municipal regulatory processes and laws. At KLJ, Tim has worked on a variety of different public works and transportation projects across South Dakota and he especially enjoys every aspect of working with KLJ’s great teams to help bring those projects to completion. He is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) through the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) and earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from South Dakota State University.
