EDA Grant for Yellowstone County
KLJ is proud to announce that in partnership with Yellowstone County, Lockwood Water & Sewer District, and Big Sky Economic Development, a $4.6M Economic Development Administration (EDA) Disaster Supplemental Grant has been secured for the Lockwood TEDD Water & Sewer Extension Project in Montana.
The project will enhance water and sewer infrastructure to promote business development and disaster resiliency. This funding, which includes a local match of $1.1 million, will specifically support the Lockwood Targeted Economic Development District, which was impacted by 2021-2022 flooding. This investment will provide connections to necessary water and sewer infrastructure to attract new businesses, create quality jobs, and bolster disaster preparedness.
“KLJ is proud to have played a role in securing this funding. This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration among public and private sectors to strengthen the regional economy and ensure a resilient future for Yellowstone County.” said Becky Rosenleaf, Government Relations Team Leader at KLJ.
This wonderful achievement reflects KLJ's strong commitment to supporting infrastructure development and enhancing our communities.
