Jess Karls Promoted to Production Director

KLJ is proud to announce that Jess Karls will now serve as a Production Director for the company. In this role, she joins KLJ’s existing production director team, and is responsible for implementing production practices that help grow KLJ and will focus on development training and geographic growth for the organization. “Jess brings years of significant experience and knowledge as a project and client manager and will continue to serve current and new clients while acting in this new role,” said Mark Anderson, KLJ’s vice president of Environment and Public Works.

Karls, who works from KLJ’s West Fargo location, joined the company in 2007 and most recently served as department manager for KLJ’s civil transportation department. She is a registered engineer in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana.

Karls earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University. She is also an avid member and volunteer of the community serving as volunteer with Engineers Without Boarders, Introduce a Girl to Engineering, and FM Engineers.
