KLJ Announces the Retirement of Darryl Magnuson

KLJ announces the retirement of Darryl Magnuson, PLS, CFedS, surveyor, based in Billings, Montana, after more than 40 years in the surveying profession, including 15 years with KLJ. 

Joining KLJ in 2011, Magnuson was involved in surveying and engineering projects, including control, boundary, cadastral, topographic and construction surveys for municipal, county, Tribal and highway projects throughout the region. Throughout his career, as a surveyor at KLJ, Magnuson was responsible for scheduling projects and field crews, performing project quality assurance, and reviewing survey deliverables. He is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska and is a Certified Federal Surveyor. 

“Darryl’s technical expertise and commitment to quality have made a lasting impact on our clients and our team,” shared Michael Ries, group project delivery leader at KLJ. “We thank him for his dedicated service and wish him all the best in retirement,” he added.  

Magnuson is a member and past Southeast Chapter president of the Montana Association of Registered Land Surveyors. He earned a certificate in drafting from Montana State University Billings. KLJ thanks Magnuson for his dedicated service and lasting contributions to the firm and the communities he has supported.
