Kolbinger Named 40 Under 40 Recipient

KLJ Engineering (KLJ) is pleased to announce that Scott Kolbinger has been named a 40-Under-40 award recipient by Prairie Business Magazine. The recognition profiles young professionals throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, and western Minnesota who have made significant impacts in their profession and communities.

As a civil engineer, Kolbinger plays a pivotal role in ensuring quality design and project deliverables align with the exceptional customer experience KLJ customers expect. In 2018, Kolbinger was named Young Engineer of the Year by the Fargo-Moorhead chapter of the North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers (NDSPE). This prestigious award is given to those members of NDSPE who demonstrate excellence in educational, professional, and personal achievements, as well as humanitarian and service activities.

Not only is Kolbinger an accomplished project manager and engineer, he also volunteers his time to serve others both professionally and within his community. Kolbinger gives his time to his community through his membership in the Hawley Jaycees, a group of young men who donate their time to hold several fundraising events a year that give back to their local community. Kolbinger is also a member of the Fargo Rotary Club and other service clubs in the Fargo area. Kolbinger’s commitment to improving the community around him both professionally and personally makes him an outstanding member of the Fargo-Moorhead community, and KLJ is proud to congratulate him on his 40-Under-40 award.
