Jessica Callahan is Promoted to Environmental Team Leader
KLJ is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Callahan to Environmental Team Leader, recognizing her extensive experience and leadership in environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
Callahan brings more than 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, supporting projects for tribal, state, and local agencies. Her expertise includes preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation such as categorical exclusions (CATEX) and environmental assessments (EAs) for transportation and pathway projects, conducting wetland delineations in accordance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Wetland Delineation Manual, preparing aquatic resource permits, threatened and endangered species reviews, and the evaluation of sensitive resources.
Callahan earned a master’s degree in biology with an emphasis on plant ecology and prairie restoration. She has completed the Ecological Restoration Training Course through the University of Minnesota Extension as well as the Regulatory IV Wetland Delineation Training from the Army Corps of Engineers.
