KLJ Helps Secure $25 Million RAISE Grant

KLJ Engineering is pleased to announce that our team recently helped secure a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) discretionary grant for the reconstruction and modernization of approximately 2 miles of Robert Street in St. Paul, Minn. This crucial project, funded as part of the Department of Transportation's $1.32 billion RAISE grant awards, will deliver significant safety, mobility, and sustainability improvements to the area.
The Robert Street Complete Streets and Viaduct Replacement Project will upgrade pedestrian crossings, improve sidewalks and trails, manage speed, expand multimodal options, and rehabilitate or replace century-old retaining walls and the George Street bridge collectively also known as the Robert Street viaduct. By improving transit access, adding multi-modal options, and providing safer infrastructure, the project aims to encourage safer, more sustainable travel options for all users.
KLJ is honored to collaborate with MnDOT and City of Saint Paul on this transformative project and remains committed to delivering innovative and impactful solutions that enhance safety, sustainability, and connectivity for the communities we serve.
