KLJ is proud to announce that our team has been awarded an American Council of Engineering Companies of Montana (ACEC/MT) award for work performed on the Glacier Rail Park in Kalispell.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this week to signify the completion and opening of the newly-expanded Sheyenne Street corridor in West Fargo, North Dakota. After nearly two years of construction, Sheyenne Street, from 13th Avenue to the Interstate 94 interchange, has been upgraded.

Relocating an international airport is never an easy task, and not necessarily common in the aviation world, but that is exactly what happened in Williston, ND. The Williston Basin International Airport officially opened Oct. 10, 2019, when an incoming flight from Minneapolis landed at the new, state-of-the-art facility.

Joe Devore, a traffic engineer, in our Saint Paul, MN office will be presenting on safety analysis for transportation and roadway planning. His presentation will take place at the 2019 Midwest District and MOTIVE Annual Meeting held in St. Louis, July 19-21.

Joe DeVore and Kevin Mackey, engineers at KLJ, have earned their professional traffic operations engineer (PTOE) certification.

Joe DeVore earned his professional engineering (PE) license in Minnesota. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Minnesota. Joe specializes in Surface Transportation in the Saint Paul office.

Ryan Sundberg earned his professional engineering (PE) license in Minnesota. Sundberg earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of North Dakota. He works in the Surface Transportation group in the Grand Forks office.

KLJ was recognized by the Montana Contractors Association (MCA) with two awards acknowledging excellence in the Bridge and the Commercial Decorative categories.

Mike Bittner, an engineer at KLJ, an engineering, surveying and planning firm, earned his professional engineering (PE) license in Oklahoma.
