The United States Environmental Protection Agency has released the 2018 guidance for applications for Brownfields Cleanup grants.

The United States Department of Energy, National Energy Technology Laboratory has announced the availability of grant funds for the objective of continued development of carbon capture technologies to either the engineering scale or to a commercial design.

The Department of Transportation, Office of Federal Lands Highway has announced the availability of 2017-2018 TTPSF grant funding.

Nick Jackson, an engineer at KLJ, an engineering firm, earned his professional engineering (PE) license in North Dakota. Jackson earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University. He works as an Engineer in the Valley City office.

Joe DeVore earned his professional engineering (PE) license in Minnesota. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Minnesota. Joe specializes in Surface Transportation in the Saint Paul office.

Brandon Mattison earned his PE in South Dakota. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from South Dakota State University. Brandon specializes in Aviation in the Rapid City office.

Travis Jones earned his PE in Minnesota. He is now licensed in six states including Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Travis specializes in Oilfield Services in the Billings office. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Montana State University.

Duncan Parrish earned his professional engineering (PE) license in North Dakota. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Colorado State University. Duncan specializes in Oilfield Services in the Bismarck office.

KLJ was awarded the Occupational Safety Merit Award and the Commendation for Safety Award from the North Dakota Safety Council (NDSC) for the third consecutive year. The Occupational Safety Merit Award is presented to companies displaying an incidence rate equal to or less than the national average in their North American industrial Classification System (NAICS) code, for 2016.

Ryan Sundberg earned his professional engineering (PE) license in Minnesota. Sundberg earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of North Dakota. He works in the Surface Transportation group in the Grand Forks office.
